What’s the difference?

Promotional models (promo models), convention Models and brand ambassadors (BA’s) have very different roles. Let’s delve right in at the deep end…

Promotional Models

As a marketing medium, Promotional Models don’t reach as many consumers as regular marketing channels, however, the perception from a consumer standpoint of a particular product/service can be more affected by a face-to-face experience. Promo models are mostly there to draw in an audience, most notably at Live Events, such as sporting events, concerts, and festivals. They are brought in to increase product awareness while providing product information and creating lasting impressions of the company’s brand. While often being placed at strategic, high traffic areas at events, they are most often used with a very specific type of consumer in mind. When hiring a promotional model you are receiving the top tier of Norton Nationals talent.

Brand Ambassadors

The main job of a brand ambassador is to promote a product/service in order to create brand awareness using verbal communication and often some sort of flyer/pamphlet/information sheet. BAs are the focal point of sales for the service or product being offered and as such, BAs need to have excellent knowledge of what the brand is they are representing. We ensure Norton National BAs are very well informed on what the service/product is that they’re representing and they are all experts at being enthusiastic, entertaining, and energetic! Our BA’s know that they are not only showcasing themselves and Norton National, but also the client and their brand.

Convention Models

Convention Models provide clients with the ability to visibly distinguish themselves from other booths and to put that brand/product/service front of mind. Often a client uses convention models as they need assistance handling a large number of attendees which the company might otherwise miss out on due to not having enough employees to accommodate the traffic flow. Often well versed in assisting the client, convention models can increase the number of sales or leads resulting from their participation in the convention. When called upon, Norton National convention Models can explain or disseminate information on the company and its products/services. It is a far more cost-effective way to staff a convention if you use local talent than bringing staff from your home city – savings on travel, hotels, food, etc.
